7/5/2009 MTCC announced the resignation of one of its board members among shareholders. To fill this open board position, MTCC invites all interested parties to apply for this vacancy. A member for this position will be elected in the upcoming Extra Ordinary Meeting to be held on August 2009

Meeting Took place at Stelco at 9:00pm. 21 Shareholders attended the meeting along with 3 individuals representing 72 proxies. 6/2/2007 On 28th May 2007 MTCC introduced Suzuki Outboard Engines to the Maldivian market. The product was officially launched by Minister of Tourism Dr. Mahmoodh Shaugee in a special event held at NasanDhra Place Hotel.
2/11/2007 The president has inaugurated the MTCC Atoll Ferry Network and the MTCC Regional Office in Addu on Monday, 05th February 2007. In his speech at the inauguration ceremony, the President said that today marked an important development in the history of transportation in the Maldives, and stressed on the great need for ferry services in the atolls. The President noted that the provision of essential services to the atolls would be made much easier by the Ferry Network. He added that traders and businessmen would also benefit from the Transport Network.
